"Supernatural healing is vital for the complete healing of each one of us," Margie Sipes believes. 

After years of battling depression and tendencies towards suicide, the only way Margie was healed was through the supernatural, divine intervention of the living God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

"Depression and mental illness were all part of my family tree, and the various physical ailments came with this malady.
 
In 1985, even as a Christian, I had a complete breakdown and was given tranquilizers and other treatments to help ease my distress.  During this time, I barely ate quit functioning as a mom and wife, never slept, and couldn't sit still fro more than two minutes at a time.  I knew I didn't want to be this way for the rest of my life.  I knew this wasn't the will of God, but I didn't know what to do to be healed.

"I began to just pray and read the Word of God day and night.  I knew His Word said if I would seek Him with all of my heart, I would find Him.  I took Him literally.

"There were many opportunities to get discouraged, and it seemed very few people, even in the church, offered me any hope of recovery, but Jesus heard my prayers.  He promised me during the worst of it all that not only would I be healed, but when I was, many others would be, too.

"In August of that year, Jesus did touch my life, He healed me completely, even restored all of my brain cells (which is impossible in the natural,) and I have been praying for the sick and mentally depressed for over 20 years, and watched Him keep His Word.

 

"The Spirit of God KNOWS exactly why we are ill, and He will tell us when we seek Him.  What HE REVEALS, HE HEALS!"

Margie Sipes has been an ordained minister of the gospel since 1997 and is the founder and president of Butterfly Ministries, Inc.  She has ministered in churches, conferences, women's meetings, schools, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, and on television and radio.  She is the wife of John Sipes, and has been married for over 35 years, is the mother of 4 children and grandmother of 6.
